SUNY to convene a system-wide public deliberation on Constitution Day (9/17)

On September 17th, from 4pm to 6pm, SUNY will convene a virtual public deliberation on the history, problems, and future of voting in the U.S. Students will have the opportunity to engage in an important and timely discussion with their SUNY peers about improving our elections, including ideas about efforts to increase voter participation, rules to make elections more secure, and mechanisms to make voting easier and more fair to all. Deliberation is an excellent opportunity to have your voice heard and recognized, and this is a unique opportunity for students to engage with peers from across New York.

Advance registration is required. Registration will close on September 10th (or when the event reaches capacity). Please see the attached the registration link and more information about deliberation. If you have questions, contact Joe Scanlon (jscanlon1@monroecc.edu)
