Rochester AmeriCorps Teams Up with MCC Instructor for a Powerful Training
On December 6, 2019 Rochester AmeriCorps held their December Member
Development Day that included a training with Ronalyn (Ronnie) Pollack an
adjunct instructor in the Health and Physical Education Department. and
Executive Director of the Native American Cultural Center. Her training was on
Intergenerational trauma and forgiveness. To process her incredibly powerful
training we had Kim Best, MT-BC, Board Certified Music Therapist, show us how
to use music as a form of self-care. Our program Coordinator Erin Murphy also
led our members through an activity focused on how our past experiences impact
where we are currently and where we want to be in the future. If you are
interested in serving the Rochester Community and participating in personal and
professional trainings like these, applications for our cohort that starts in
September 2020 will be available starting in January 2020. For more information
