A Talk on the Civil Rights Act of 1964
The Civil Rights Movement reached one of it's climaxes with the passing of
the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
After almost 10 years since the Brown v.
Board Supreme Court decision, Congress finally passed this act enforcing the
end of segregation.
Professor of History Mark Sample will give a talk outlining the people
and events that brought on this important moment in history.
