2021 Spring Deliberative Dialogues Series Continues 3/23: How Should We Improve and Safeguard Our Elections?
Deliberative dialogues are unique opportunities to engage in
collaborative thinking about how to address our most
pressing issues. Because each dialogue takes the form of a
deliberation, attendees drive discussions in small groups facilitated by
trained moderators. Anchoring each deliberative dialogue are issue guides
that reflect the results of public discussions. Each issue guide presents
potential courses of action which groups collaboratively review and
critically analyze.
Below is information on this semester's next deliberative dialogue,
including date, time, topic, and registration link. An advance copy of the
issue guide is attached. If you have questions, please contact Joe Scanlon

Voting: How Should We Improve and Safeguard Our
Elections?
Americans are worried about our elections. We worry about voter
turnout, voter suppression, and even foreign interference in our
elections. Join us for a deliberative dialogue on improving our elections. How
can we increase participation, protect the integrity of voting, and make the
voting process a fairer and more inclusive experience? As deliberators,
participants will share their experiences, evaluate the tradeoffs of
potential options and actions, and learn from each other as they work
collaboratively toward improving American elections.
