MCC's Annual Campus Security & Fire Safety Report Available
The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime
Statistics Act (Clery Act)
requires Monroe Community College to distribute an annual report on the
College's crime and fire statistics to current and prospective students and
employees. The Annual Campus Security & Fire Safety Report (ACSFSR) includes information regarding specific
criminal offenses that are reported to campus authorities and/or local police
agencies, as well as arrests and judicial referrals for alcohol, drug and
weapons violations. Crime and judicial referral statistics gathered for this
report are based upon information obtained from MCC's Department of Public
Safety, Department of Human Resources, and Student Services Division, including
the Department of Housing and Residence Life. Information pertaining to crimes
occurring on public property in the immediate vicinity of each campus location
is obtained from the Brighton and Rochester Police departments, as well as the
Monroe County Sheriff's Office and New York State Police.
For ease of access, the ACSFSR is accessible online via the Department of
Public Safety's website.
