Random Acts of Kindness Week

This week, February 14-20, 2021, is Random Acts of Kindness Week! The Counseling Center and Disability Services office is choosing to highlight the annual tradition of celebrating kindness this week because we know everyone can use more kindness in their lives, especially this year. A Random Act of Kindness is defined as giving your best self to others without requests or promise of return on investment. It’s simply doing something nice for someone else, without them asking and without you doing it for anything in return. To quote Desmond Tutu, “Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.”

As you're working to spread kindness to others, please don't forget to be kind to yourselves, too. We hope you are all staying safe and warm out there this week.

Kindly,

You Counseling and Disability Services team
