Download Read&Write and EquatIO for Free

Please join the Counseling Center and Disability Services office as we provide drop-in support and a demonstration of the reading software program, Read&Write and the math accessibility tool, EquatIO, from TextHelp.

You can download Read&Write and EquatIO for free until the end of the Spring 2021 semester. We are particapting in a free trial to gather information about Read&Write and EquatIO. If you have any questions, email us at disabilityservices@monroecc.edu or by phone at 585-292-2140.

Read&Write is a text-to-speech software that can be used for:

Reading online content and documents.
Proofreading and converting documents into MP3 files for listening
Built in advance spell checker and word prediction tool
Screen masking capability to help with concentration
Scanning paper copies into a digital file (if a scanner is connected)
Talk to type feature
Built-in highlighter for reading

EquatIO is a math accessibility software that can be used for:

Making math digital
Create mathematical equations, formula and quizzes
Dictating formulas aloud

Please join us at one of the following drop-in meetings via Zoom to learn more and ask specific questions. You may refer to the Zoom information and the downloading directions attached.

EquatIO Support via Zoom:

Wednesday, March 31st 1:00-2:00pm
