Celebrating Open Ed Week!

This week marks the 10th year of Open Education Global's Open Education Week! This worldwide annual event provides practitioners, educators, and students with an opportunity to build a greater understanding of open educational practices and be inspired by the wonderful work being developed by the community around the world.

There are numerous possibilities for learning from each other.  Events being presented by SUNY colleagues include today's webinar at noon, OLI Ready to Adopt Courses & Customization.  Wednesday at 11:00 you can join Using Our Open Source Publishing Platforms to Enable ePortfolios, or Thursday at 11:00 learn about Using Google Tools to Create & Administer Open Content.  More sessions and links to register for each webinar can be found on the SUNY CPD site.

Check out OE Global's event listing for many more presentations throughout the week.  Highlights include an Open Oregon Student Panel, The Interconnections of OERs and Instructional Design, and Open education for Sustainable Development Goals.
