MCC Students Astound Audiences At the Rochester Fringe Festival!
MCC's On the Edge Drama Troupe performed in two events this past weekend at
the Rochester Fringe Festival. First, the original show, Oz and
Effect, written by MCC theatre alum, Tyler Wolff, entertained two
audiences at the School of the Arts Black Box Theatre, and garnered a great
review from City Newspaper.
Also, World-renowned French performance company, Plasticiens Volants,
called upon the On the Edge Drama Troupe to assist and perform alongside them
in their U.S. premier and Fringe Fest Headliner show, Pearl: Secrets of the
Sea. From wrangling the giant aquatic inflatables, to performing as
lighting artists, and donning costumes and becoming an integral part of the
show, this was an experience these students will not soon forget.
MCC's Theatre students are doing great things! Come support their next
big endeavor: A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, to be performed
in November.
