Still Time to attend a wonderful play, Water by the Spoonful
To the MCC Faculty, Staff and Students
This is a Reminder that you should take advantage of seeing this honest and
thought provoking play by
Quiara Alegria Hudes; Water by the Spoonful
We are facing an epidemic of drug addiction in the Rochester area and this
play brings home the point of how addiction affects all of us in one way or
another. The play, is a highly theatrical, multi-faceted story of addiction and
recovery, despair and hope, past and future. In the aftermath of a significant
death, the dead woman's sister, her son, his cousin, and several other
characters struggle to come to terms with the immediate loss, painful memories,
and the possibilities for a future free of past suffering.
Like the characters in the play, we are all living day by day, spoonful by
spoonful
