Today! A Talk on Martin Luther King, Lyndon Johnson & the Civil Rights Act of 1964

In 1955, Martin Luther King began leading the Civil Rights Movement. After JFK's assassination in November of 1963, Lyndon Johnson became President. The next year they would both work together to pass the Civil Rights Act of 1964. It was one of the most important pieces of legislation in American history.
