TCC: "Student Success Through The Eyes of Students" webinar with Dr. Tinto

The Teaching and Creativity Center will be hosting a watch party followed by a discussion tomorrow, March 10 from 2 - 3 pm.

Dr. Vincent Tinto is a prolific researcher on student engagement and is known for his model on institutional departure (Tinto, 1993) where he found that students were more likely to persist in college when the were integrated and connected into the college community. His theories have value for students, faculty, staff, and administrators. In this webinar, Dr. Tinto will discuss his current research, including what specific experiences support students feeling connected to college.
