"Heart-Home-Health (H3)" Free Lunch Thursdays @ Downtown Campus!

Student Services in collaboration with the MCC Association has secured grant funding to provide free lunch to Downtown Campus students once per week for the remainder of the spring semester. "Heart-Home-Health (H3)" lunches will be available every Thursday in the 321 Café beginning Thursday March 3rd from 12:30-1:30.

This initiative will assist with food insecurity, address the perceived lack of food offerings Downtown, improve mental health and wellness and create community and belonging at the Downtown Campus. In addition to the lunches, several mental health/wellness resources will be highlighted with information tables on those days.

Resources for March: 

3/3 DWIGHT  

Doing What Is&nb sp;Good and Healthy Together, is a campus food pantry initiative created to support students in need of food and additional resources to help those that are having difficulties making ends meet. 

3/10  DREAMKEEPERS   

Unexpected financial emergencies is one of the top reasons community college students drop out of school. MCC offers Dreamkeepers grants to help students with financial emergencies stay in school.  

3/17  Counseling Center

MCC’s Counseling Center supports the learning environment of the College by promoting positive mental health for students through individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, consultation and referral, assessment, and outreach programming that are responsive to the individual, cultural and demographic diversity of MCC students.

3/31  Title IX

MCC prohibits domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault and stalking. The College takes reports of sexual misconduct seriously. We support one another and look out for one another as members of the MCC community. If you or anyone you know experience any of these types of violations there are many resources available both on and off campus.
