Announcing the Visit of Spanish Film Maker Bernabé Rico and the Screening of His Film "All My Guardian Angels"
The English & Philosophy Department, the Global Education and
International Services Office, the Humanities and Social Sciences Division, the
Visual and Performing Arts Department and the World Languages and Cultures
Department cordially invite you to attend the New York premiere of the short
film "All My Guardian Angels", and to meet Mr. Bernabé Rico, the film director,
writer and producer, who will introduce the film and answer questions from the
audience.

Film Synopsis - Madrid, Christmas 2009: a sports bag is
abandoned in the middle of the street. Its contents undertake a journey of
survival as the bag is handed off by nocturnal beings who, although overtaken
by events, will serve as unsuspecting guardian angels.
"All My
Guardian Angels" (Spain, 2018) is shown with English subtitles, and its
duration is approximately 15 minutes.
Bernabé Rico was born in
Seville, Spain in August 1973. He shifts his career between film and theatre,
working as a producer, director, writer, and adapter. In 2009, he established
his own production company TalyCual, and in 2012, he started
Triple F Media to manage stage and film rights for his productions.
Mr. Rico owns credits in the theater and film industry as a producer, director,
and actor, and since the beginning, he has focused his career with an
international scope. His productions have gotten nearly a total of 100 national
and international stage and film awards. Concurrently, the company has carried

"All My Guardian Angels" is the winner of the Shoestring Award in the 61st
Rochester International Film Festival, the world's oldest continuously-held
short film festival, which takes place from May 9 to May 11, 2019 (http://rochesterfilmfest.org/2

The event is free and open to the public.
