Changes to the Facilities Work Request System
In an effort to reduce threats to campus network security there has been a
change made to the Work Order Request system. As many of you know, when
requesting work from the Facilities Department you do so by accessing the Work
Order Request web page via the link on the Facilities Department web
page. The link will remain the preferred method for making such requests,
but there’s been a small change in access. The change will be
completely transparent to anyone accessing the system from a logged-in account
on a campus computer, or on a wireless device that has been logged in to the
Campus wireless network via the Crypto link. However, for users who wish
to request repair work from either off-campus or who are on wireless devices
logged in to MCC-Guest access on the campus wireless network, there is an
additional step required to make that happen. Those users will need to
first initiate a VPN connection to the campus by using the Cisco AnyConnect
application. Instructions for its implementation and use can be read on
