Practicing Mindfulness During Stressful Times

Do you find yourself feeling like the end of the semester is so close, yet so far away? This might be the last week of classes, but with end of the semester deadlines and finals coming up, it can make everything feel extremely overwhelming right now. Being mindful of your emotions, managing your stress in healthy ways, and taking some time to give your brain a rest can be extremely helpful during these stressful times.

Our Counseling Center, Disability Services & Health Services Department will have a table set up on the Brighton Campus Terrace today with informational and educational resources on mindfulness and meditation. We will be providing a fun mindfulness starter kit to pass out to students while supplies last. We will be there to remind you of the supports that you have and that you are doing a great job! Come stop by our table to learn more about mindfulness, meditation as well as the services our department has to offer.
