Deep Relaxation/Body Scan Exercise Today at Noon via Zoom

The meditative practice of body scan can provide many health benefits, including reduced stress and increased psychological well-being. At first it may feel a little strange to take time out and connect with our bodies. We are often not accustomed to listening and nourishing our bodies. However, by doing this practice regularly, we can often feel rested, refreshed and renewed.

According to Mindful.org's Ed Halliwell, "The body scan is a foundational mindfulness practice that introduces us to working more skillfully with experience." (article) Also attached is additional information on this restorative practice.
