Information for All Attending Commencement Ceremony

Dear MCC Class of 2022,

On behalf of the entire College community, I want to first congratulate you. We are proud of what you have achieved at MCC! We are hopeful that this year’s Commencement will mark a return of this cherished tradition of celebrating in person with our graduates and their families. MCC’s ceremony is scheduled to be held at 7 p.m. June 2 in the Blue Cross Arena, with the caveat that Commencement plans remain subject to change based on COVID-19 conditions.

At this time, all MCC students eligible to graduate may participate in Commencement and anyone — students, faculty, staff and guests — may attend without showing proof of vaccination status. Blue Cross Arena no longer requires attendees at all events to provide proof of vaccination or wear masks, in accordance with Monroe County’s recommendations for venues and event spaces.

Masks will be optional at MCC’s Commencement. MCC will support all students, faculty, staff and visitors who choose to wear masks.

MCC’s ceremony will be livestreamed for those who are not able to attend in person.

We applaud your achievements and look forward to celebrating your success with you!
