Former Honors Institute Student to Give TED Talk

Ashley Wright, a 2017 MCC graduate, currently at Columbia University, will give a TED Talk on "Beauty Reconstructed: The Socioeconomic Implications of Ethnic Facial Features in America" as part of the TEDxColumbia in April, 2018. Ms. Wright conducted her research while at MCC, under the guidance of Professors Celia Reaves and Scott Rudd, and gave presentations on it at Scholars' Day, the Northeast Regional Honors Conference, and the Beacon Conference, where she took first place in the Psychology Category.
