Conversation with Alumni Salva Dut reaches 13,000 around the world

The Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Right Project's theme this year is, "tell everyone my story". For 30 years, the Project has been telling the harrowing and courageous stories of survival that occurred during the Holocaust and other genocides.

On October 2, Salva Dut, MCC Alumni and Hall of Fame Inductee and CEO of Water for South Sudan, shared his story with more than 12,000 local middle schools in the United States and 8 countries, as far away as Kuwait and New Zealand. The Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights student leaders interviewed Salva and Linda Sue Park, author of A Long Walk to Water. Park's award-winning book chronicles the true story of Salva, one of 3,800 Sudanese "Lost Boys" airlifted to the U.S. in the 1990's. We invite you to view the linked interview, which is available until Friday, November 15.
