Last Call: Museum Studies @ RIT Virtual Info Session Today
Love Museums? Want to level-up your MCC degree with a B.S. in Museum
Studies?
Join us on Today at 12PM to learn more about the
Museum Studies Program at RIT!
During this virtual event, Dr. Juilee Decker, head of the Museum Studies
program from RIT, will share a brief overview of the program and exciting
opportunities for students interested in learning more about how this degree
can position you for work in libraries, archives, and museums. Unlike any other
program in the nation, RIT’s degree offers a strong liberal arts core
enhanced by technology-based classes that enable students to learn by doing.
Dr. Decker will be joined by a 3rd-year MUSE major, Izzy Moyer, who will share
her experiences in the program and the exciting opportunities she has had
(hint: travel is one of them!). All participants in the Zoom session will be
entered in a drawing for an individual membership to one of Rochester’s
museums.
To sign up, use the Museum Studies Zoom registration form.
If you are unable to attend, please reach out directly to Dr. Decker (jdgsh@rit.edu).
