Announcing Zoom Presentations for the Model United Nations Program
Model UN is an important endeavor and investment from the college. Of course
we want students to take advantage of every opportunity that will help them
succeed at MCC. Some students have asked us to schedule some Model UN
zoom presentations since they are taking classes from home this semester.
This program is a great opportunity for students and we don't want anyone to
miss out. Please remember the program rewards students with:
-Academic Credit (3.0 POS 234 or General Elective)
-Experiential learning, that fosters leadership skills, critical thinking
and cultural competencies
-Students will attend the largest simulation conference in the world taking
place in New York City in April
-Student will meet and interact with students from all different backgrounds
at the United Nations
- Any MCC student can apply and all students will earn Honors credit
Below is the revised informational sesson schedule. You have to attend
at least one of these sessions in order to be considered for the
program. If you do decide to attend a Zoom session,
please e-mail at (Sprovost@monroecc.edu) and indicate
what session you will be attending. A link will be sent to you for that
scheduled presentation.
