Mercer Gallery Presents - Experimental Video Exhibition
For the next two weeks, a selection of experimental video works by Artist
Xuan Zhang will be playing in the Mercer Gallery. Various in nature, the works
go between abstract and representational, meditative and hyperactive, colorful
and muted. The program is 26 minutes in length and is playing on a loop basis,
so feel free to sit for everything, or stop in when you have a free few minutes
between classes.
Because the video work is being projected, the gallery has been curtained to
minimize excess light. If you stop by during normal operating hours and the
gallery looks closed, simply pull on the door and head on in.
In addition to the work in the gallery, students from CIN 222 participated
in a workshop run by Xuan, and a selection of the resulting work will be
screening on a monitor located outside the gallery.
