Narcan Training
It's not too late to learn how to save a life! Seats are still available for
WMCC's NARCAN training event on the Brighton Campus:
- Thursday, April 14
- 2:00-3:00 p.m.
- Empire Room (3-209)
NARCAN nasal spray is used in the event of an opioid overdose. An opioid
overdose is reversible through the timely administration of the drug naloxone.
In this training, you will learn how to identify an opioid overdose and the
proper administration of NARCAN nasal spray. At the completion of the one-hour
training, you will receive a free NARCAN kit that could save someone's life.
Seating is limited. Reservations are not required, but strongly
encouraged.
Contact: Tamara Hillabush Walker, WMCC Faculty Advisor at twalker@monroecc.edu to reserve your
spot.
