Message From Public Safety

On April 18, 2024, at approximately 4:20 pm, MCC Public Safety responded to one of the residence halls after the report that a student may have a handgun.  Officers and residence life staff responded to the room, found the student, and recovered a handgun. The student was taken into custody without incident and turned over to Brighton PD.  The student was suspended from MCC and the student’s access to the residence hall was revoked.
