MCC is hosting a statewide drone competition this Friday, April 27
Dear students, friends, and colleagues,
The Engineering Science and Physics Department is hosting a statewide TYESA
mini Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) competition this Friday, April 27 at the MCC
field house. There will be six institutions, including RIT and Clarkson,
participating in this event. The winning team will receive a state title plaque
and a $300 cash price.
I am cordially inviting all of you to be a part of this event. Competing
students have designed drones to simulate a first-aid delivery where human
navigation is difficult or dangerous.
Here is the tentative schedule:
9:00 am - 10:00 am Team Check In and Set Up
10:00 am - 11:00 am Poster Session
11:00 am - Noon Lunch/test run
Noon - 1:30 pm UAV competition
1:30 pm - 2:00 pm Awards ceremony

We have parking lot G reserved for the non-college attendees. Please
