DATE CHANGE: Advanced Manufacturing webinar has been moved to July 28th
The Department of Education STEM Webinar: Advanced Manufacturing:
Jobs of the Future, will now take place on Wednesday, July 28th, from
12:30PM-2:00PM. As part of the webinar, Dr. Alexis Vogt, professor of Optical
Systems Technology, will participate in a panel discussion. Her topic supports
MCC’s DEEP OPS program and the need for skilled technicians in advanced
manufacturing jobs. Other panelists include: DoD STEM’s Manufacturing
Engineering Education Program (MEEP) partner NEXTFLEX; OSD ManTech; NSWC
Carderock; and several Department of Education representatives.
