Ready for the Eclipse? Need Eclipse Glasses?

Are you ready for the total solar eclipse? Join us for a presentation by Jason Szymanski, Associate Professor in the Chemistry and Geosciences Department, on Wednesday, March 27th in the Empire Room (3-209) or join via Zoom.* We'll explore the science behind this amazing phenomenon and prepare you for what’s to come. Whether you're a space enthusiast or just curious, this is your chance to witness something truly extraordinary.   

Thanks to the dean of STEM and Health, Margaret Kaminsky, solar eclipse glasses are available (only while supplies last!) for students, faculty, and staff. Receive a pair at the upcoming talk in the Empire Room or stop by one of these distribution locations this week:

Brighton Campus

  • Empire Room (Wednesday 3/27 only, Noon to 1:00pm)
  • Room 4-105 (Monday through Thursday, 9:00am to 4:00pm)
  • Room 4-101 (Friday, 10:00am to 2:00pm)
  • Room 8-210 (MWF 9:00am to 11:00am, TR 2:00pm to 4:00pm, or call ChemGeo Dept x2003 for a pick-up time)
  • Room 7-205 (Monday through Thursday, 9:30am to 3:00pm)

Downtown Campus
