Nationwide Mathematics Contest

If you are enrolled at MCC this semester either full-time or part-time, and have not taken any mathematics courses above the level offered at MCC, please consider representing MCC in this year's nationwide contest for two-year college students.  It is an opportunity for personal and school recognition.  Prizes are awarded for top scorers in the nation.  Also, the top scorer from MCC will be recognized at the MCC Awards Banquet in May. 

Questions are mostly multiple choice with occasional short answer questions, and can be solved using mathematics at the pre-calculus level.

It’s fun and only takes an hour of your time! 

AMATYC Contest (American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges)

Come to room 8-100 on Friday, March 3rd from 11:55am to 12:55pm to participate in the contest.
