January is National Blood Donor Month

This is a great time to reflect on the impact blood donations can have on the life of others.

Did you know:

  •             Every two seconds, someone in the U.S. is in need of blood
  •             Only about 3% of age-eligible people donate blood yearly
  •             Blood and platelets cannot be manufactured; they can only come from volunteer donors
(facts and figures via the American Red Cross)

Donations help people every day, these include individuals impacted by cancer, traumas or chronic disease.

Donating blood is essential, and it can help save a life!

Donating is easy, learn more about the process through the American Red Cross.
