Immigration Law: "Public Charge" Presentation
Brighton Campus
Empire Room 3-209
2:00 - 3:00 PM
Immigration specialists with Catholic Family Charities will present the most
up-to-date information on the Public Charge rule. "Public charge" is a ground
of inadmissibility that could prevent a person's entry to the United States on
a visa or adjustment of status to permanent resident (ability to get a green
card).
The information in this presentation will be especially useful for students
or members of the community who are seeking permanent resident status through
family member petitions, or those who plan to support petitions for their own
family members to immigrate to the United States.
