Take a Walk and Save Lives in South Sudan
Over the past 13 years, Water for South Sudan has established 349 clean
drinking wells in South Sudan, bringing health, commerce, and education to
villages and forever transforming lives in the world's newest nation. MCC's
Holocaust, Genocide, and Human Rights Project is proud to support WFSS and has
been actively fundraising for it since 2005 - to date, our students have raised
nearly $69,000 to benefit the South Sudanese. Join us as we host our annual
Walk/Run for Water for South Sudan and help us to change the lives of
thousands. This year, Water for South Sudan founder and MCC Alumni Hall of Fame
inductee Salva Dut will participate in the walk with us! Schools and community
members in the Greater Rochester area are welcome to participate.
