Dr. Douglas Discusses Spring Semester Plan on WXXI Connections

MCC Interim President Dr. Kate Douglas, Nazareth College President Dr. Beth Paul, and University of Rochester Dean of the College in Arts, Sciences and Engineering. Dr. Jeffrey Runner joined WXXI Connections host Evan Dawson for a roundtable discussion on spring semester plans and the impact of the pandemic on higher education.

In addition to MCC’s use of the CircleIn app to help students connect, Dr. Douglas highlighted recent innovations and creative learning solutions such as our HyFlex learning modality, engaging student life events hosted by Student Services, and the important role the MCC Foundation plays in our ability to respond to students’ basic needs insecurities (e.g., food, housing, technology).
