HGHRP students raised $4400 for Water for South Sudan

Last semester, Monroe Community College’s student group, the Holocaust Genocide and Human Rights Project (HGHRP), hosted a silent auction to benefit Water for South Sudan (WFSS). WFSS teams work in remote villages in South Sudan to dig wells and provide people with clean water. To date, they have drilled more than 500 wells. Each well serves from 500 to 1000 people. MCC’s HGHRP has funded 5 wells so far. The auction raised $4400. Great work HGHRP!
