International Pronouns Day
Mark your calendar for International Pronouns Day--- Wednesday,
October 19th!
We are hosting three different events to mark the day!
9:00-10:00am: "The Gender Identity Training- Respecting
Pronouns" with Professor Erin Morris
Empire Room
The Gender Identity Training: Respecting Pronouns will
discuss how to be more inclusive through our language, focusing on respectful
pronoun use. We will learn basic definitions
around gender identity, gender expression, and pronouns and
why it is important to respect the identities of those around us. In this
training we will also discuss ways in which we can be more inclusive with our
language through avoiding gendered language when in diverse and unknown
settings and practicing proper pronoun use. There will also be time for any
questions you may have.
