April is STI (Sexually Transmitted Infections Awareness Month

  • Almost half of the 20 million new STIs each year are in people between the ages of 15-24
  • Many people who have an STI don’t have any symptoms.
  • You can’t tell if someone has an STI by looking at them.
  • All STIs are treatable, and most are curable.  The sooner you get tested, the sooner you can take action to protect your health and the health of your partner(s).
