MCC Healthy Hero Camp 2018

MCC Healthy Hero Summer Camp is finally underway. This summer we have welcomed a fantastic group of 625 1st through 6th grade Rochester City School District students. In addition to our campers, we have 64 Summer Youth Employment Program participants employed as our junior counselors. Certified teachers and MCC college students round out the rest of our staff. The camp provides a wide variety of sports (including swimming and ropes challenge) and active play along with academic enrichment programming in reading, mathematics, health, nutrition and anti-bullying education. Healthy breakfast, lunch and transportation are all included. All of this would not be possible without the efforts of Campus Events, MCC Grounds Crew, Facilities, Public Safety, Sodexo staff and so many more. Thank you to everyone, we are looking forward to a great summer.

Just a reminder, camp runs from July 2nd to August 3rd. You will recognize our staff and campers by their bright Healthy Hero Camp shirts.
