2022 TYESA MCC mini UAV competition Winners
Last Friday, on May 6, many students/family/staff/faculty came to support
the ESP department hosted the state-wide, TYESA MCC mini Unmanned Aerial
Vehicle (UAV) competition at the MCC PAC field house.
The competition was based on a real-world simulation. UAV’s
delivered a rescue-autonomous robot, where human navigation is
impossible. Participating student teams designed, built, programed, and
constructed a circuit.
9 teams, from 7 different institutions, participated. The MCC
Engineering Science team took the 2nd place state-wide title. The winners
are: Alexander Groff, Michael McMaster, Olivia
Schaefer, Tyshawn Searight (please see the photo below)
Once again, Engineering Science students have done brilliant work in this
competition. Thank you very much for your support. Cheers!
A special thanks to Aaron Bouyea, Andrew Eggleston, Bailey Burritt, Dale
Pearce, Denise Thomas, Jamie Smiths, Jeremy Case, Joshua Dingman, Karen
