IDE 102 Students visit newly renovated Bassett Furniture showroom in Victor

Bassett Furniture in Victor recently complete a complete showroom. Designer, Michelle Nichols, of Bassett gave the students a hands on tour of the new showroom where they exposed to upholstery, and case pieces that demonstrated furniture construction techniques, signs of quality, sustainability, trends in fabric and leather and the numerous decisions that go into designing and ordering a custom piece. They were then able to put his knowledge to work and design a custom sofa, dining table and chairs.
