Opening Reception for Joseph Laurro - Recent Painting Exhibit at the Mercer Gallery

Join us on Thursday, April 5, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. to celebrate the opening of the Mercer Gallery's latest exhibit: Joseph Laurro - Recent Painting. The artist will host a talk at the gallery that afternoon at 3:00 p.m.

The exhibit runs from April 5 through May 3, 2018 and is free and open to the public.

Laurro's work was featured by Rachel Thomas, the Senior Curator of the Museum of Modern Art (Dublin), and by Chief Curator Rebecca Wilson in Saatchi Art collections, and Brooklyn Independent Media (BRIC) interviewed Joseph Laurro as part of their "On Air" documentary series on local artists. His work is in several private and international collections and has exhibited locally and nationally at various galleries including Mercer Gallery, Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art, Collette Blanchard Gallery, Metro Pictures, Greenpoint Gallery, and Local Projects.
