Dr. Nayda Pares-Kane to sit on Planned Parenthood Zoom Panel
A Look at COVID-19 through the Lens of Social Justice - May 14,
1:00-2:30 pm
Many factors contribute to racial disparities in health care and they have
become more apparent during the COVID-19 crisis. This program will examine the
pandemic through a social justice lens by exploring the many factors that have
made communities of color especially susceptible to COVID-19. Our speakers will
consider approaches to mitigate disparities and offer a local example of the
community coming together to support a group in need. Join us for a discussion
with panelists from various fields as they share their insight on this
topic.
