Downtown Campus Scholars' Day Update & Upcoming Events
Congratulations to the student scholars who inspired judges and audience
members at the Downtown Campus Scholars' Day yesterday. Research topics ranged
from implicit bias and the power of social media to combating food waste and
launching a new business to change young people's lives. Thank you to those who
attended the presentations and provided a warm MCC welcome to our keynote
speaker award-winning writer Leslie C. Youngblood.
Scholars' Day, MCC's 10th annual showcase of original research presented by
MCC students and faculty, continues on Saturday, April 14 at the Brighton
Campus. Please plan to attend and remember to vote for your favorite student
presentation. Presenters with the most votes will receive MCC Foundation
scholarships! The presentations are free and open to the public.
