Award-Winning Photographer to Lecture at MCC
Be sure to catch “Sustaining
Self and Community through Political Upheaval”—a lecture by
award-winning photographer Min Ma Naing—on Wednesday, December 8th, from
12-1 pm.
Min Ma Naing is a Burmese photojournalist who will discuss her work
documenting the anti-coup protests in Myanmar last spring (her work is
currently exhibited on the 4th floor of the LeRoy V. Goode Library). Her
photos are at once personal and political, local and global; they represent a
nation in crisis through the very personal stories of the people fighting for
democracy.
