Take a Brain Break Week
MCC Libraries want you to take good care of yourself as we approach the
intensity of the end of the semester and finals week. We usually look forward
to helping you from within the library, but since we can't be together in
person, we hope you'll join us next week in some virtual self care:
- Monday, 5/11- Who doesn't feel better after seeing cute
pets and grandkids pics? Check out the library's Facebook page for library
staff's submissions of fur-babies and grand-babies! Share pics of your own with
us, too.
- Tuesday, 5/12- Chill out with the Campus One80 Club in the
evening for a virtual game night.
- Wednesday, 5/13- We all miss our furry friends from
Therapy Dogs International (and their handlers) and their regular library
visits. Stop by our Zoom room and say "hi" to Milli and Olli.
- Thursday, 5/14- Many of us have been baking (and eating!)
more during this stay-at-home time. We'd love to hear what comfort foods (all
healthy, right?!?) you've been cooking up.
- Friday, 5/15- It's a mixed bag of choices! Among other
things, you can get creative with coloring pages, view nature webcams, share
your vinyl collection, or share whatever else you do to relax your mind!
- Every week on Mon/Wed/Fri Donna Burke would love to see
you at her meditation practice at noon. Never meditated before? Not a problem!
Donna will guide you along the way.
Check out MCC Libraries'
Facebook page each day for details and links. Resources for the whole week
can be found here. We miss
you and look forward to being back on campus with you in the future!
