Mindfulness Meditation Practice
We often hear a lot of buzz about how mindfulness and meditation helps
during times of stress and challenge. But how does it really work? Is it a
quick fix? Do you need to sit in an uncomfortable pretzel position and force
yourself to be still?
Well, the answer for me has been no, it is not a quick fix (and I
can’t twist my body into a pretzel) but it has been a slow,
nourishing practice that has helped reinforce my resilience by bringing me
back to the present moment and helping me feel calm and at peace with
myself. No easy task right now!
I want to personally invite you to join us for our weekly meditation
practice on Thursdays, 12:00 pm-12:30 pm on Zoom.
No experience necessary….we are all beginners! This practice is open
to faculty, staff, students, friends and family of MCC. You can log in late and
leave early if you need to. Come as you are and rest with us for a moment.
