Gold Star Children Documetary Screening at Downtown Campus
Please join us for a screening of the Gold Star Children
Documentary. 'Created by director Mitty Mirrer, this touching and inspiring
film examines the impact of grief and loss on military children - by examining
their journeys across two generations. Adults who lost a parent serving in the
U.S. Armed Forces in Vietnam are interviewed, as well as children and teens who
lost a parent serving in Iraq or Afghanistan. This heartwarming film leaves
viewers hopeful that today's gold star children have more support, thanks to
organizations like TAPS.'
Screening will be held Monday, November 12th, 9am-10:30am on the Downtown
Campus, High Falls A and B (Room 320). Short Discussion will be held
afterwords.
