The student-run newspaper at MCC, the Monroe Doctrine, is looking for writers for news, sports, and lifestyles as well as photographers, graphic designers, illustrators, videographers, a web manager, and a cartoonist.

Join us at our first staff meeting next Wednesday, September 18, at noon in the Monroe Doctrine offices in Building 3, Room 134. The Monroe Doctrine is open to all students.

The Monroe Doctrine seeks to inform, educate, and entertain the students, faculty, and staff of the College community while reporting on various issues, events, and concerns of interest. Its advisors are committed to the creation of an atmosphere of learning meant to foster skills in journalism, graphic design, publishing, management, and more. Working with the Monroe Doctrine provides the perfect opportunity to gain experience in a professional working environment.
