Guidance for a COVID-19 Exposure

MCC Health Services understands adapting to our ever-changing pandemic landscape can be challenging.

With these ongoing changes our community experiences surrounding COVID-19, Health Services references guidelines directly from our Monroe County Department of Public Health (MCDPH) to ensure the most up-do-date recommendations. Our hope is these recommendations serve to support the health of our students, faculty and staff.

For individuals who experience an exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, please find the MCDPH guidance here.

Please note:

  • Rapid testing is available at no cost for the MCC community on Mondays from 12:30-6:30 pm and Tuesdays 9:00 am-3:00 pm in the R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center Forum, Building 3 Room 130.
  • Monroe County offers rapid testing at no charge M/W/F; more information can be found here.
  • At-home rapid tests are widely available for purchase at local pharmacies.

If  you test positive for COVID, contact Health Services (healthsvc@monroecc.edu) and the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities (studentrights@monroecc.edu).
