ESL-120

ESOL: Integrated Skills 1

This course supports fundamental fluency in all skills for high intermediate English language learners through an immersive approach. It includes extensive reading and writing as well as oral practice through small group activities and mini presentations. In addition, students read novels and write and revise a semester-long narrative project.

Prerequisites

Score of 43-53 on CELSA placement test and ESL 100 (may be taken concurrently or previously completed).
