COVID-19 Testing Requirements, Late Afternoon Pooled (Saliva) Sessions Now Available
Per SUNY guidelines, if you plan to come to the Applied Technologies Center, Brighton Campus and/or Downtown Campus for any reason during the spring semester, you are required to present evidence of a negative COVID-19 test taken within three (3) days prior to return OR participate in on-campus COVID-19 pooled (saliva) testing as soon as possible but no later than five (5) days of returning to campus.
Pooled testing sessions will be held on:
- Monday, Jan. 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
- Monday, Jan. 25 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. (note new time)
- Tuesday, Jan. 26 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
No appointment is necessary. Sessions are held in the Flynn Campus Center on the Brighton Campus. A daily COVID-19 self-assessment is required for the days you come to campus in order to access campus buildings.* Upcoming session dates and times along with instructions are available on MCC’s website.
Other acceptable options to satisfy the testing requirement include:
- Submit testing results from another provider to Human Resources Director Kristin Lowe (klowe5@monroecc.edu).
- Present documentation of a positive diagnostic result for COVID-19 from the prior 3-month period to klowe5@monroecc.edu and healthsvc@monroecc.edu.
* PLEASE NOTE: MCC faculty and staff are no longer required to complete daily screenings for 14 days prior to coming to campus.
